Shein Review: June 11, 2016

EYY HELLO HELLO EVERYONE LET'S DABBLE INTO ANOTHER REVIEW FROM SHEIN! It seems like it's been a while since I reviewed for them. The name's pretty popular around Tumblr, but some of you might be new to them. They're a website that sells a wide variety of styles of cheap! I've reviewed their products quite a few times and can assure you that many of their items are quite durable and nice ; u ; Since it's summer, I'd reccomend you take a look at their tees, tanks, summer blouses and dresses!

This post will cover the following two items:

• White Aztec Print Fringe Kimono ($20.99) 
• Drinks Cola Tee ($9.90) (size S)

This parcel took about 2 weeks to come by Canada post. That was pretty fast, considering that Canada post items generally take up to a month. ; u ;

Anyways, let's talk about the White Aztec Print Fringe Kimono. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with this one. The fabric came very wrinkly and wasn't particularly soft. The print made it kinda hard to iron everything. (sorry that I used a white bedsheet as a backdrop btw ;-; I outlined the garment just in case you don't notice it). When you lay it out, it's kinda like a rectangle of fabric with a strip take out of the front. As said in the title, it also hase this cute fringe. The material was also a bit cheap, sort of resembling the material of a doily.

Regardless, it actually looked pretty nice when I put it on. I think it'd look a lot nice with a bralette since it's more of a summer-y chill piece. Since my style is more preppy, of course I wouldn't have things to match with this ;__; Anyways, I think this would look good with white high-waisted shorts and preferably a bralette (preferably neutrals or black). Shein sells lots of cute ones here!

And here's me in it! It would look nice with shorts rather than skirts (mostly) because you're going for that boyish look (in my opinion). I think that black shorts, high-waisted or not, work well since they match the sleeves and collar. I also added in the plaid top (product | review) tied around the waist to further that whole boyish, casual vibe. It also adds extra detail to an otherwise partially simplistic look.

As far as I know, it seems very durable and the print doesn't seem like the cheap kind that washes off!

It's very comfortable + it's a nice garment to just throw on on lazy days!

Very fast considering it's Canada Post! When I received the package, I actually didn't think it was this one lol.

Even though I wasn't too impressed by the blouse, it was definitely made up by the tee! I will, for sure, wear them both in the future! It was such a pleasure to be able to sponsor such great items c':
