Shein Review: August 7, 2016
Hey there! I'm back with Shein! You should probably know them from the many reviews that are floating around Tumblr. However, if you're not familiar with them, they're an online clothing store with many cute/chic styles for low prices!
Today, I'll be reviewing the following:
- Plaid Bowknot Blouse ($13.00)
- Cold-shoulder White Blouse ($13.00)
EVEN THOUGH THE REVIEW IS SPONSORED, IT IS HONEST.
Let's start with the Plaid Bowknot Blouse! It's nice and thin for the summer and fall! Honestly, I was sold on this one by the buttons. The wooden buttons make a cute accent to the otherwise typical-looking The quality is pretty average and it came with a few uncut strings, but it was cute overall ;u;.
This looks best in light-coloured shorts! I would have worn it with jean shorts, but they were in the wash lololol. Overall, this makes for a cute summer look!
Design: 4/5
Super cute, but I feel like it's kinda limited in terms of matching with things.
Quality: 4/5
Fabric wasn't too bad, but I would have preferred something softer.
Comfort: 5/5

Now, let's take a look at the Cold-shoulder White Blouse! I got this in size small. The quality is pretty much the same for this one compared to the other blouse in this review. The lace seems to be made of the same material as a doily, which was kinda disappointing. It's pretty cute, though! The back is secured by a plastic button, so it can be worn and removed easily c:
Although I got a small, I still think I could have gone for something smaller. I feel that it would have been better if the sleeves were smaller because I feel like everything draped over my body too much.
Regardless, it's a really versatile piece! Due to its colour, it matches with many types of skirts. Here, I match it with both a floral and button-up denim skirt (product | review)! With the florals, I also wore a necklace (product | review) to kinda go with a more upperclass vibe. The matching with the denim skirt is much more casual (but still cute ;u;).

Cute design, but I'd take it in a smaller size!
Quality: 4/5
Quality was a bit cheap, especially with the lace part ><;
Comfort: 4.5/5
No complaints here! Not the most comfortable, though; as I said earlier, it's a bit to drape-y for me ><

The parcel took about 20 days to come, which is pretty average with Canada Post parcels from China.
