Romwe review: July 11, 2016

Hey guys! So I'm back again with Romwe! I've posted quite a few reviews for them in the last while, so I don't think they need too much of an intro. However, if you're new here, Romwe is an online clothing store that sells lots of cute and chic styles for less! They have a huge variety that updates daily. For the summer, hit up their tanksswimwear, and tees! ; u ;

Romwe also has a sale this week, taking off up to 70% on their bestsellers!

Although this is sponsored, it's quite honest!

Unlike my past reviews, this package included more accessories. The parcel was sent by Canada post and took a little more than 3 weeks to come.

Today, I'll be reviewing 4 items:

Let's get started! Idk why I got this one in the middle of summer, but the Retro Striped Sweater is super cute and great quality! Although it's thin, it's also really warm. Probably not going to be wearing this a lot in the summer, but definitely too much in the winter ; u ; The design is so simplistic, but reminiscent of those traditional sports socks haha.

This would actually look nicer with blue jeans since you're going for the typical girl-next-door vibe, but I'm probably going to wear them with leggings cause I'm not the jeans type XD. Here, I matched it with a black pleated skirt (product | review) to go for a more fall look. The piece is definitely more American-looking, which was really good for my wardrobe ^^;

Design: 5/5
It's really cute and casual! I like it ouo

Quality: 5/5
Although it's thin, it's really warm! Hence, the material is pretty good quality!

Comfort: 5/5
Yaas it's awesome ; u ;

Next, let's look at the Ring + Arrow Hairpiece! If you click the link, it also comes in gold and bronze! I actually made this order at like 2am... I don't know why XD Hence, I later realized that I couldn't really pull off how it was worn in the photo for the bronze version ^^; Regardless, I guessed around and I got it!

The pieces seem of good quality (not plastic lool), but the arrow actually bends super easily. Hence, you need to be careful when putting it on!

To put it on, I just did the following:
  1. Pull the top layer of your hair to the back. I took the hair from above my ears.
  2. Start slightly pulling the upper part of your hair through the ring as if you're about to pull all the hair through it (but don't do it fully)!
  3. Once you can put your thumb between the hair and the ring, stick the arrow through where your thumb is holding the hair
  4. Pull your hair down to tighten the hair on the arrow. I hope this isn't too confusing lol XD

Anyways, it turned out a lot nicer than I thought! The arrow is a nice touch, but I wish it was a bit shorter. Regardless, it's a simple, stand-out accessory.

Aand here are more photos (photo creds to my parents lol). I personally like it more with the triangles up, but it still looks cute with them down! It's a nice substitute for a bow when you're in the mood for something more sparkly and unique.

Design: 4/5
I would have preferred the arrow to be a bit shorter ^^; the overall design of the pieces also makes it kinda confusing on how to wear it.

Quality: 4/5
I was kinda disappointed on how easily the arrow could bend. Luckily, it bends back easily! For what you pay, it's already really good.

Comfort: N/A/5
It's hard to rate the comfort b/c I can't really feel it lol.

Now, let's look at the Ornamental Bib Necklace! It's quite pretty, having a feather and pendant design laced with extra hanging chains. I've been into bib necklaces for low-cute dresses lately, so I decided on this one!

I was kinda disappointed with the quality. Although the chains are all metal, I kinda feel like the pendants and feathers are a mix of plastic and metal (felt like plastic, but was too heavy to be just plastic). Regardless, the necklace looked fully metal if you didn't touch it.

I was also questioning how I were to wear this since I didn't have too many outfits to match. Thankfully,  I found two ways to wear it!

In the first photo, I wore it with a sleeveless collar blouse. I saw someone wearing a necklace like this under the collar like this once, so I gave it a try. It actually looked really cute! I'll probably be wearing it like this most of the time!

Since it's kinda a chill necklace too, I wore it with my apricot cold-shoulder dress (product | review) for a more boho vibe. It blended with the lace of the dress well!

Design: 5/5
It's quite unique and sort of random, but everything flows together well on it!

Quality: 3/5
I didn't like the plastic feel of it.

Comfort: 5/5
Not irritating or scratchy.

Lastly, let's look at these Dolly Long Lashes! When I was ordering it, I had no idea that they were so long, nor did I realize that there were 10 pairs in the pack. I thought that there were only the 5 on the surface, but I lifted one out of the box to realize that there was a second layer! I don't know what I'm going to do with so much of the same design lol...

The thick band that you place on your eyelid makes it stay quite securely on your eye and blended in pretty well with my liquid liner. Note: lash glue is not included!

So here it is on me! As I said earlier, they were longer than I expected. When I ordered, I hadn't ever had experience with wearing fake lashes before, so I thought these wouldn't stand out too much. It wasn't until grad that I actually found out what I looked lik with false lashes ^^;

Hence, they give that whole "dolly" look. Since they're quite lengthy around the center of the eye, they make you look a bit more awake and cute. Probably goes more with kawaii/cute outfits than anything else ^^.

I was actually surprised in how much larger it made my eyes look, though. The first photo looks like I did the eye-widening effect on LINE camera XD

And more photos! Sorry for my face btw XD It's also featuring pudding the penguin :D
As you can see, it attaches quite naturally to the eyes.

And a few more close-ups! They draw out and up quite nicely.

Design: 4/5
Honestly, I'm not too into the dolly look of these lashes, but I still think they're quite cute!

Quality: 4/5
I'm not too good with lash quality, but these seem fine to me. If you touch them, however, you know they're artificial.

Comfort: 4/5
You can still kinda feel the ends when you wear them >< You kinda get used to the feeling and it doesn't hurt, though.

Overall ratings:

Shipping: 4.5/5
It took more than 2 weeks to package everything, which was a bit out there for me. However, it only took a bit more than a week for it to come by Canada post, which was really good!

Communication: 5/5
Communication is great as always!

Overall: 4.4/5
I was really satisfied with everything in this package! Taking photos for so many accessories was pretty diff and really fun! The hair accessory was surprisingly really cool to me and the sweater was also just my style ; u ;

Thanks, Romwe, for sponsoring me!

And THANK YOU FOR READING MY REVIEW!! :D
