Romwe Review: December 13, 2016 (Part 2)
Waddup! I'm back with the second part of my Romwe review! Part 1 is here and Part 3 is here~ Check it out for more looks c': I decided to split everything up this time, since the reviews were getting long haha.
This review will have the following:
- Black Button-up Jeggings ($15.99)
- Yellow Pug Sweatshirt ($19.99)
- Army Green Knit ($19.99)
- Button-up Skirt ($11.99)
First of all, let's start with the Black Button-up Jeggings. The quality seemed good, but my first reaction was how medium-waisted it was. I was so hoping that they'd be high-waisted because the multiple-button look would be more suited and because I just needed high-waisted long pants for when I want to wear a tucked-in top :(( Another thing with this (it might have just been me being bad with sizing), but it fit sorta awkwardly. It fit looser around the bottom and was tighter around the thighs for me >< (by the way, I got a medium).
Overall, the design was really nice and you get a pretty good pair of pants for its price.
In this outfit, I went for a more punkish look, hence the crop top, jean jacket (review | product), and choker (product | review). I think that these pants are nice for outfits that reveal the pant waistline because it's focal point is in that area.
Design: 4/5
Would have looked better high-waisted imo.
Quality: 4/5
If the material was a bit stretchier, I'd be a bit more satisfied with the material
Comfort: 4/5
Again, it didn't fit that well for me, so I'f have to pull it up a lot.
Now, the Yellow Pug Sweatshirt! Since I'm such a lazy engineering slob, I just go to school with whatever I don't need to match much with and sweatshirts are my usual go-to. This one is thinner than your usual "cozy sweatshirt", but I still really enjoy it because it's cute and I've actually been looking into getting this colour for a while. I used to hate this colour, but it's really growing on me tbh.
I've already worn this and can say that it's very comfortable. If you don't get the joke, it's pretty much the pugs from different countries not understanding what the human is saying in different languages. It's not that great of a joke, but I'm so into stupid jokes (because I'm like the embodiment of a stupid joke LOL).
As with your usual sweatshirt, you can pretty much match anything (black or white, preferably). I usually wear this with leggings, but I wore it with a pleated skirt for this review to up the cuteness.
Design: 5/5
Stupid jokes FTWWWW
Quality: 5/5
A bit on the thinner side in terms of the sweatshirt spectrum, but I like it.
Comfort: 5/5
:)))
Now, let's move on to the Army Green Knit! This is another one that I like to just throw on to go to school. It's nice and warm and I love the colour. It also has that high-low look (the front is shorter than the back), which is pretty unique
I wore the choker (product | review) with this one again because CHOKERSS (I've been so into them lately. sob). I usually wear this with leggings, but again, it's pretty versatile. Honestly, I think the casual leggings look floats well with this one.
Design: 4.5/5
This is my first sweater with the high-low look so I'm still deciding whether I like that.
Quality: 5/5
Comfort: 5/5
It's all warm and stuff :'3
Last but not least, the Button-up Skirt! I actually previously bought a black button-up skirt online, but it was too loose around the waist so I opted for this one! This one fits a lot better (I ordered a small). The material is nice, but it seems that it might wrinkle easily, so be ready to iron!
Overall, it's cute and really one of the basics in a closet.
I wore it with my "plants are friends" tee (product | review) and my pendant choker (product | review) to go for a really tumblr-esque look XD. This is you typical "going out" look. probably not for colder days like what we're getting here in Canada, but def for summer and spring.
Design: 5/5
Cute and basic.
Quality: 5/5
Comfort: 5/5
Good quality and no complaints for comfort!

Overall: 4.75/5
My favs in this group had to be the Yellow Pug Sweatshirt and the Army Green Knit! In all, I was satisfied with all of them c:
