Romwe Review: July 5, 2016

AYO WADDUP !! I'm back with Romwe again! If you haven't read any of my previous reviews, Romwe is an online store that sells very cute and stylish pieces! For the summer, hit up their tanks, swimwear, and tees! ; u ; Their prices are already amazing so I think you should give them a shot! They haven't disappointed me yet! This package actually contained some of my favourite summer picks this season! Anyways, let's get on to the review!

Even though this is sponsored, it's completely honest!

Today, I'll be reviewing 4 pieces:
Firstly, let's take a look at the White Ribbed High-neck Sleeveless Tank Top! Unfortunately, it's sold out right now, but the grey version is still in stock! I hope that, when you read this, it'll be back in stock!
This is actually one of my favourites from this package and I wear it quite a lot. I think that I'm super into the whole high-neck tank style lately since it can be summer-y, but still preppy.  The fabric was good quality and was also stretchy and soft ^^.

It's a very cute substitute for a regular tank top. The one that I used to wear a lot is now old and over-used. Now that I've been using it more, I've actually been really satisfied with how it matches with stuff. This season, I'm really into jackets/long sleeves with shorts. Hence, I really love matching jackets with this top over black high-waisted shorts. I've been matching it with this jean jacket (review | product) along with an army-green one that I reviewed earlier (photos | product). Of course, this works well with knit cardigans too! In addition, this also makes a cute top for a tank + skirt outfit!

Also, I'd really like to point out that the lines of the ribbed pattern really emphasizes the curve of the bust. It's even high-neck, which is better for people with smaller busts. Thus, this tank is really good for people who want to show off their bust a bit more (and still awesome for those who don't!).

Design: 5/5
I actually don't really like the bottom part much, but it usually ends up being tucked in somewhere ^^; Other than that, it's super perf!

Quality: 5/5
Seems like it's holding together well! It might stretch out after a while, but that's expected for its price.

Comfort: 5/5
Super comfortable!

OKOKOK let's look at the Black Turtleneck Sleeveless Tank Top! This has to be my second favourite in this package and one of my current favs in my wardrobe too! It looks exactly as it does in the photo. Fun fact: my sister got really fed up hanging this up since she thought the neck part was a sleeve ; u ; #turtleneckstruggles. The fabric is thin, but durable. It's perfect for summer!

As a bonus, the black works to slim down the area similar to how black leggings would work on legs. For me, the top was also really fitting, which was great!
Outfit-wise, I found that the piece itself was suuper preppy. Hence, I added in a beige button-up skirt (review | product) and a knit cardigan to make it even preppier ; u ;. It actually looks perf without the cardigan, but Canada gets cold ^^;. This outfit works awesome with heeled boots. I use my black lace-up boot heels (review | productwith this outfit. This sleek, preppy look is great for first impressions.

Yes. It's perfect. Wow.

Quality: 5/5
Seems durable and thin for the summer!

Comfort: 5/5
Super comfortable!

And now, I'll present the Black Ruffled Skirt! I've been eyeing this one for a while now, but I've been hesitant in buying it. When reading reviews by bloggers on it, it kinda looked like a low-quality piece with no zippers or anything.
In reality, it's actually really thick and stretchy, making it one of my most comfortable skirts! I'ts kinda hard to capture its quality by my crappy camera, but I actually really like its quality! It's sort of heavy, but that's all I can complain about.

And here I am. As you can see, it's sort of awkwardly high-waisted. It's quite slimming, though. If I were to wear it, I would probably wear a sweater over it like I am in the second picture. Here, I'm wearing my apricot knit sweater (review | product) over my bowknot chiffon top (review | product)! The ruffles really emphasize the youthful preppy vibe.
If you're wearing a skirt for a long period of time, this is really the skirt for you! If you're concerned about the high waist, any type of sweater or jacket would work to cover it up well!

Design: 4/5
One off for being too high-waisted ><

Quality: 5/5
Quality is actually great! It's thick and very stretchy!

Comfort: 5/5
; u ;

Lastly, let's look at the Cola Charm Velvet Choker! Velvet chokers have been popular again, so I wanted to get my hands on a plain one for starters! I thought that this one was cute since it had the Coca-Cola cap charm on it. However, it noticed that the charm moves horizontally around a lot and seems loosely attached :(. Otherwise, it's really cute!

Maybe this is my fault for buying it, but I'm still sorta uncomfortable wearing it in public since I feel like a dog when I wear it :p. Regardless, I'd probably wear it when the outfit is right! It works really well with low-neckline tees. I wore this one with a cities tee that I got at H&M with the denim jacket from earlier (review | product). It really fills the space of an otherwise empty collar area with something that isn't too girly (something too girly would harsh the style). Hence, it works to add that punkish vibe to an outfit! ^^;.

Design: 4/5
I'm sorry, but it really reminds me of a dog collar ; n ; I should have foreseen this.

Quality 3/5
The charm looks like it's about to fall off/ is always sliding everywhere! It's fine for the price, I guess.

Comfort: 4/5
It's probably as comfortable as an other choker. I'd really prefer is this stretched.

Overall ratings:

As always, the Romwe rep was really nice ; u ;

Overall: 4.68/5
I was really satisfied with this package! The tanks are actually quite essential to my outfits lately, so I gotta give props to the awesome selection of Romwe!
