Sanrense Review: July 5, 2016
YOYOYO WHAT'S UPPPP! I'm here with another review! :D I've been kinda busy since I got two summer jobs, but I was able to have time to write up some reviews! This one's pretty interesting since it's my first one from Sanrense! After so long of promoting them, I can finally review them c': As I said in an earlier post on my Tumblr, they are a very cute store (formerly a Storenvy) that sells a wide variety of accessories, dresses, bags etc.! They focus on kawaii and harajuku fashion, but of course have awesome other products too! Now, Let's get on to the review!
Even though this is sponsored, it's 100% honest!

For this review, I got the Cute Lace Floral Dress! I've actually been looking at this since forever and I've finally got my hands on it! I was kinda unsure on whether getting this would be a good idea since it's pretty diff from everything else in my wardrobe, but it's still pretty nice ; u ;.
From the time at which I sent them the email until I received the package, it was about 1.5 months. I found this sort of long, but I guess it isn't the longest I've waited. Plus, it came from China, so I guess there's lots of delay.
The first thing that I noticed was that it was not the colour portrayed in the photos. The colours were all more saturated and harsh. The cream-colour that was in the photo turned out to be a lot closer to a yellow colour (which I didn't quite prefer). The first photo of the fabric displays the off colour the best (in my opinion) since the camera couldn't always get the colour quite right.
Otherwise, the quality was fine!
It's a cute design, really! I'd maybe go for a more intricate or less childish design on the lace, but what it has is realy pretty also!
I got a medium because I was afraid of the bust being too small, but the medium still didn't seem to fit perfectly. I thought that the waist area was sort of awkwardly loose. That was kinda disappointing, since the see-through waist area was supposed to emphasize the smaller waist. Regardless, it looks cute! I really like the part of the dress with the sleeves, shoulder area, and collar!
Note: I edited the colours pretty strongly for the full-body pics, so the dress is still a lot more yellow.
Since I wasn't too big a fan of the waist, I decided to try this baggy apricot sweater (review | product) over it. It actually made it a lot cuter! To this look, the floral collar really emphasizes the spring-summer fairy tale vibe. To me, this is the cutest way of wearing the dress! The long sleeves on the sweater really makes the look shy and kawaii.
It would look the best with loosely curled hair and shoes like these pastel martin boots (in white), bowknot heels (in beige), or cute heels (in any!). If you want to emphasize the fairy tale vibe, wear them with the Alice in Wonderland combat boots (in white)!
